Are your books open?
Yes, on an extremely limited basis. I work full-time and travel most weekends for my sport, so I don't have as much time as I would like for new projects. Right now, I am prioritizing grad/senior pictures.
Where are you located?
I am currently located in Durango, CO until the fall. I make frequent trips to Boulder, CO, and Phoenix, AZ, so it is possible to catch me there.
This is my first time taking professional photos. What can I expect?
I want my clients to feel as though they are spending time with a friend who just happens to be photographing them. We will be conversing the entire time- the more comfortable you are, the better your pictures come out! I am also known for my over-the-top instruction. I will tell you exactly what to do with your hands, feet, where to look, where to put your hair, etc. Not having to focus on posing will allow you to relax in front of the camera.
Do you offer discounts?
No. My prices consider the photoshoot itself, time spent editing, equipment, and my experience. I will be offering a scholarship program for families who can't afford senior pictures in the near future- everyone deserves to commemorate a milestone.
Should I tip?
No. I set my own prices so tipping is not expected. If you would like to show a little appreciation, you can always bring me a cool rock or an iced chai.
Should I bring anything to my photoshoot?
Bobby pins, water, and a pair of shoes you can walk around comfortably in are always a good idea (you can change into cute shoes at location). If it's included in your package, an outfit change.
